Pennsylvania State University, Altoona, or Penn State Altoona, for short, is a commonwealth campus of The Pennsylvania State University, in Altoona, which is a city in Blair County, in the US state of Pennsylvania, with a population of over 47 000 inhabitants, as estimated during the 2006 census, making it the state's 10th most populous city.
